Jessica Calle is RIAIMH’s Infant, Early Childhood Mental Health Community Coordinator, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a facilitator of adolescent workshops for the RI Wellness Foundation. She has a passion for working with young children and families, particularly those who are neurodivergent or have experienced trauma. Calle believes that early relational health is essential for lifelong well-being, and she is committed to creating communities that support and nurture young children, families and the workforce who serve children and families.
Calle has 12 years of experience working in early childhood in a variety of settings and roles, including staff in childcare programs, social worker in a private practice, coach and mentor to the early childhood workforce and an assessor using environment rating scales to improve program and classroom quality. In her role as Infant, Early Childhood Mental Health Community Coordinator, Calle works to develop and implement services, like reflective supervision consultation, that support early relational health in the community. She also collaborates with other professionals to raise awareness of the importance of early relational health and to advocate for young children, families and the workforce that supports them. Jessica is a member of RI association of Infant Mental Health, holds a Certificate of Graduate Studies (C.G.S.) in child and adolescent trauma and is Author-reliable in multiple environment rating scales, such as the family childcare environment rating scale, the infant and toddler environment rating scale and the early childhood environment rating scale. In addition, Calle holds the Infant Family Specialist with Endorsed Reflective Supervisor, IMH-E® endorsement.
