For Providers

(CURRENTLY UNDER RE-CONSTRUCTION)

Foundations of Infant/Toddler Mental Health and Development: Designed for Providers offers high-quality professional development for front-line providers across various community sectors serving infants, toddlers, and their families.

The course includes 16 computer-based learning modules in three sections:
  • Infant/Toddler Development
  • Relationships as the Context for Development
  • Supporting Infant/Toddler Development: Approaches to Individualization

The modules are embedded in a learning management system that tracks and monitors user participation and provides post-assessments of learning.

Upon completion of the course, participants can print a transcript.

The course is aligned with various established professional development opportunities throughout the infant/toddler system of care.

For Parents

Foundations of Infant/Toddler Mental Health and Development: Designed Especially for Parents and Families is offered to parents and families. The course includes 10 computer-based modules that offer insights about a baby’s social emotional health and development, and it highlights the importance of positive early relationship experiences for healthy development.

La salud social y emocional es la base de todo el desarrollo de bebés y niños pequeños. Durante los primeros tres años de vida, el cerebro de un bebé se desarrolla más rápidamente que en cualquier otro momento. Los médicos del Hospital Bradley en asociación con la Asociación de Salud Mental Infantil de Rhode Island han desarrollado un curso en línea gratuito que ofrece información sobre la salud y el desarrollo social y emocional de un bebé, y destaca la importancia de las experiencias positivas de relación temprana.
