CARE Group 2024
(Community Advocates for Racial Equity)
Cohort 7
Join a growing number of professionals who have committed to walk this journey together to "do better".
We are committed to creating a space where we can explore diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism so we can become anchors within our communities who courageously identify and speak up when challenged with racial injustice. The goal is to engage in courageous conversation and skill-building around DEIB and anti-racism that leads us to deepen self-awareness, identify, and speak up when challenged with racial injustice, and take action to be anchors/advocates within our communities. Participants in the CARE Foundations 2024 groups will learn together and gain skills to integrate DEIB principles and practices into their work with colleagues and the community. Together, we'll build a more inclusive environment for the workforce and families in our home and community-based services. We hope you will join us on this journey to deepen knowledge and self-awareness to “do better” as we serve infants, young children, and families in RI.
It is in this spirit that we invite you to participate in this CARE Group, Cohort 7.
Note: This CARE Group is for MEMBERS and NON-MEMBERS who have not participated in a previous CARE Cohort. Members of a prior CARE Cohort, please consider registering to attend Intensive: CARE-ing for the Workforce: Connecting to Promote IECMH. learn more
