DC:0-5™ Community of Learners with Zero to Three
Zero to Three's Community of Learners (CoL) 90-min sessions promote participants’ analysis, reflection, and exploration of applying DC0-5 Diagnostic Classification of Mental Health and Developmental Disorders of Infancy and Early Childhood content knowledge into their professional practice. Designed and expertly facilitated by ZERO TO THREE faculty, CoL sessions enhance learning through collaborative dialogue among mental health professionals. CoL sessions can be provided as follow-up to the DC:0-5™ Training for Clinicians. Discussion will focus on translating training into everyday clinical work, building a network of providers, discussing case studies and sharing real-world experiences.
These Communities of Learners have been used by other states and are highly recommended to help support clinicians to integrate a new diagnostic framework into their work, and to identify system barriers that can be addressed so the use of the framework can become standard operating practice in the state.
