RIAIMH's Spring 2018 Community Conversation Series continues to focus on our themes of Attachment and Relationship-Focused Practice, now in more complex circumstances.

The second Session of our Spring 2018 Series takes place on April 2, 2018.

We are very excited to welcome back Carolyn Souza, MSW, whose presentation is titled: Early Intervention as Relational Support in the Child Welfare Context: Strengthening Attachment Relationships in Biological and Foster Families.

Carolyn's presentation will focus on infants/toddlers and families who enter Early Intervention (EI) through the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (CAPTA). She will present two cases, one in which an infant stays with his/her biological family and another in which the infant is in foster care and EI works with both the foster and the biological families/relationships.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Location:

Rhode Island College Student Union Ballroom

Time:

8 am (registration) and 8:30-10:30 (program).
