“The Space in Between”: Cultivating Critical Self-Reflection, Connection, and Collaboration for Systems Change
Amittia Parker, PhD, LMSW, MPA, IMHS-E®
This year we are pleased to offer 2 versions of the conference: a 4-hour virtual session during the workday (completed August 17), and a 2-hour virtual evening session.
The evening session in October is a shorter version of the August 17th half-day conference, and will feature highlights of the content from that day.
This year's conference brings together those who serve babies, young children, and their families, and those within the systems connected to and supporting them. A space is created for critical self-reflection and dialogue about the opportunity to center relationships, reframe narratives, and advance diversity informed, relationship-based, equitable, and anti-racist infant mental health practice, and systems change. The conference includes an interactive keynote and a guided process for activities including critical self-reflection and dialogue, and individual planning.
